Classroom Enhancement Grants

Dartmouth faculty may apply for grants throughout the academic year for activities that enhance classroom teaching on the broadly defined issues related to public policy. These grants are provided to supplement the efforts of faculty and their departments to enrich the teaching experience by inviting outside experts. Classroom Enhancement Grants awarded.

Awards May be Used To

  • Invite a guest lecturer from outside Dartmouth College into a class
  • A research-related field trip
  • Other activities that support the curriculum or classroom experience

Administration of Awards

  • Awards typically range from $300-$500
  • Faculty may submit requests totaling up to $500 per fiscal year
  • Additional requests may be considered based on availability of funds
  • This program is subject to availability of funds
  • All proposals for funding are reviewed by the Rockefeller Center Associate Director for Curricular & Research Programs

  • Explain in detail:
    • Amount needed
    • Which Class/program grants supports
    • Guest names
    • Date of event
    • Other pertinent information
