Academic conferences draw researchers to Dartmouth from across the country and from around the globe to examine important public policy and social science questions.
This year, the Rockefeller Center is supporting a conference entitled "Why Communism Didn't Collapse: Exploring Regime Resilience in China, Vietnam, Laos, North Korea, and Cuba," organized by Assistant Professor of Government Martin Dimitrov. It will be held from May 25 and 26, 2007.
