Boston Globe Features Work of Dartmouth Students in Policy Research Shop

A recent Boston Globe online article features the work of The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center's Policy Research Shop.

Students who wish to work in the Policy Research Shop (PRS) must take

PBPL 45: Introduction to Public Policy Research (PDF)

with Professor Ronald G. Shaiko, Senior Fellow and Associate Director of Curricular and Research Programs at the Center, or

PBPL 48: Policy Analysis and Local Governance (PDF)

with Professor Andrew Samwick, Director of the Rockefeller Center.

The work produced by the Policy Research Shop continues to be valued by policymakers in Vermont and New Hampshire.  The Vermont Child Poverty Council, for example, recently posted a

benchmarks handout (PDF)

on their website that was created by PRS and presented during their recent testimony to the Council.

The Policy Research Shop is supported in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) program.
