Program Officer for Co-Curricular Programs

Eric A. Janisch is a Program Officer for Co-Curricular Programs for the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences. Eric joined the center in January of 2017. He manages the Dartmouth Leadership Attitudes and Behaviors (D-LAB) program, the Internship Funding and Advising programs, and co-manages the First Year Fellows (FYF) and Civic Skills Training (CST) programs.

Eric’s background is in leadership development, operations planning, and education. Before joining the Rockefeller center, he spent the previous year working with youth as a teacher in both early childhood and secondary education. Prior to coming to the Upper Valley, Eric spent four years in the military, stationed in both Italy and Georgia. In Italy Eric worked primarily as an air operations planner, coordinating airborne events with partner nations and civilian government agencies across Europe.

Eric graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Biochemistry. He currently serves as Treasurer on the board of Trustees for Ledyard Charter School in Lebanon, NH. Most of Eric’s passions stem from growing up in the outdoors of Alaska. He enjoys hiking, going sport climbing with his wife, playing ice hockey, and brewing his own beer.
