The Rockefeller Center employs on average 25-30 students each term, and they play a vital and integral role in Rockefeller Center events, programs, and activities. There is a rigorous application and interview process for each position, and the Center's Management & Leadership Development Program is a prerequisite for employment. Selection is competitive and multiple-term commitments for all positions are preferred. The Center places a high level of trust and responsibility on our student staff and most students find that their workplace skills and level of professionalism are enhanced by their time spent working at Rocky. In addition to individual areas of responsibility, Student Program Assistants also function as the governing review committee that oversees submitted proposals for Rockefeller Center Mini-Grants. Schedules and required hours per week vary for each position, but range from 5 to 12 hours and all positions' compensation is $10 per hour. Click here for a brief description about our positions.
