The Senior Honors Thesis Grants program provides grants of up to $1,000 for undergraduate students writing a senior honors thesis in the social sciences.

ATTENTION '09s!

Are you going to be writing a senior honors thesis in the social sciences? If so, you are eligible for the NEW Rockefeller Center Senior Honors Grants Program.

To apply for senior thesis research awards of up to $1,000, students must submit:

  1. a cover letter that identifies the honors thesis project and the amount of funding to be requested;
  2. a copy of the thesis proposal or similar documentation acceptable to the student's home department;
  3. a letter of support from the honors thesis advisor; and
  4. a detailed budget that outlines the activities and the associated costs to be covered by the grant.

THERE WILL BE TWO GRANT PERIODS EACH YEAR;

The Spring deadline for submission is FRIDAY, MAY 30, 2008.

The Fall deadline for applications will be WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2008.

All completed applications must be received in 203 Rockefeller Hall by 4:00pm.
