Rocky VoxMasters

Nathan McNamara '10 and Derek Summerville '11

VoxMasters' primary objective is to allow students to practice public speaking. Being completely student-run, the atmosphere is un-intimidating. Students provide constructive peer feedback. The Club provides students with general tips on public speaking, such as how to use PowerPoint and how to address numerous people during group interviews. Some Rocky VoxMaster topics:
  • What did you want to be when you grew up as a child?
  • Tell us about yourself.
  • What do you think about the Chinese economy?
  • What is your area of expertise?
  • What is the worst thing about dating?
  • Why did you decide to attend Dartmouth?
  • Tell us about the Big Green Bus.
  • Describe your favorite weekend at Dartmouth.
  • Where are you from?
  • Who is your best friend and why?
