Brief Description of the organization:

Join Maura Sullivan for Congress to gain experience with one of the top congressional races in

the country! We have internship and fellowship opportunities available for the summer and are

looking for highly motivated, organized, and energetic individuals to join the campaign.

Maura is a former Marine who held roles in the Obama administration at the Department of

Defense and the Department of Veterans Administration. She is running for Congress because

she believes we have a national crisis of leadership. Her top priorities are addressing the opioid

epidemic, making healthcare more affordable and accessible, and protecting our national

security.

Brief Description of the Intern's role or key qualifications:

In the campaign's internship, you will work alongside our team and learn skills such as

campaign research, organizing, event planning and staffing, communications, and fundraising.

Interns will come away from the experience ready to apply these skills to the social change they

want to see in their local communities.

Our interns will:

● Work directly with campaign staff and organizers to recruit and organize activists

within the district;

● Work with finance staff to plan and execute fundraisers;

● Assist with fundraising calls to small dollar donors;

● Build skills around relationship management and outreach;

● Conduct donor research;

● Organizing and executing house parties, phone banks, or canvasses;

● Provide administrative support to campaign staff on campaign projects

We are looking for self-starters who are organized, attentive to detail, and passionate about

helping fix our country's politics.
