Internship Opportunity: Policy internship at the Office of Rhode Island Governor Gina M. Raimondo

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or recent college graduates 

Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours a week; hours are available outside of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday- Friday

Desired Interest: Health and Energy Policy, but no previous experience is required


Brief Description of Internship: Policy interns help develop and implement Governor Raimondo's agenda in order to improve services for the citizens of Rhode Island. The intern will assist the Governor's policy director on a wide variety of tasks, including policy analysis, analyzing legislation, managing initiatives, developing new policy proposals, and day-to-day management of state agencies. Previous interns have assisted with significant Medicaid reform efforts, Rhode Island's clean energy plan, and criminal justice reform.
