The Rockefeller Center is proud to announce that twenty-nine members of the Class of 2017 have completed their degree requirements with a minor in public policy, which prepares students for both public and private sector careers in a variety of policy-related fields.

The Rockefeller Center hosted its annual Senior Celebration BBQ on Tuesday, May 30 th in honor of the Class of 2017. Festivities had to be moved indoors due to a rainy day, but the uncooperative weather did not dampen the lively conversation and fellowship over a delicious meal catered by Wicked Awesome BBQ.

Rocky has taught me that leadership requires action and taking responsibility. My experiences in the Policy Research Shop and as a First-Year Fellow taught me that to be a leader, I would have to be the one always willing to work the hardest. Teaching me that leadership requires action has been very valuable, and helped me in many other aspects during my time at Dartmouth.

My Rocky experiences are all intertwined, they truly have built upon one another, and I know for a fact I would not be the same person without them. Next year I will be teaching special education in New York City as a part of the Teach For America program. Rocky gave me the confidence to accept this position.
