The Rockefeller Center's First-Year Fellows Program, which has placed nearly 300 undergraduate students in summer internships with Washington, D.C.-based Dartmouth alumni mentors since 2007, launched its newest 20-student cohort into their Fellowships in late June.

Through my involvement in the Rockefeller Center, I have developed life-long friendships with peers and mentors. These friendships challenge me to be a more thoughtful, confident, and mindful version of myself, while always making me feel at home. As a high school senior, perhaps the greatest single factor in my decision to attend Dartmouth was the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center. I was impressed with the emphasis on experiential learning and career preparation to go along with the numerous academic opportunities. Now as a senior in college, looking back on my time at Dartmouth, I find that some of the most fulfilling and transformative experiences were a result of the Rockefeller Center.
