My fellowship primarily centered around the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act of 2014, which enabled states to establish tax-advantaged savings accounts for people with disabilities similar to 529 College Savings Accounts.

I really enjoyed working for a public policy organization which illustrated the importance our fellow citizens play in administering justice. The jury system is part of the fabric of this country and what makes it so great.

My favorite part of the fellowship experience was having the chance to attend several congressional hearings over the course of the summer on a wide range of issues, from rising healthcare costs, to the US-China trade war, and even the state of American diplomacy according to Secretary of State Pompeo.
