Joanne comes to the Rockefeller Center having spent her career in libraries, large and small. She’s held a variety of positions, most recently as the Head of Adult Services at Howe Library in Hanover, where she was part of the team responsible for programming.
Joanne holds a B.A. in English from the University of Vermont and an M.A. in Library Science from the University of Denver.
When not at work, Joanne can be found hiking, kayaking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing and is a member of both a hockey and a tennis team. Her hobbies also include many types of handwork, but there is always at least one knitting and one rug hooking project in various stages of completion. She enjoys traveling, reading, games, puzzles, and cooking. She and her husband were fortunate to raise their two children in the Upper Valley.
