Alejandro Quiñones

First-Year Fellowship: World Resources Institute; Mentor Sofia Faruqi '07

Alejandro Quiñones ‘23 grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and attended high school at the Baldwin School of Puerto Rico. At Baldwin, Alejandro was an AP Scholar and a Presidential Scholar candidate and received an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Alejandro also was the Founder and President of Baldwin’s Finance Club, a member of the National Honor Society, and Treasurer of his senior class. At Dartmouth, Alejandro plans to major in Government, with minors in Public Policy and Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies. As a member of the Dartmouth Democrats, he has canvassed for and volunteered at campaign events for Democratic candidates across New Hampshire. Alejandro also is a member of the Latin American Student Association (LASA) and has explored his public policy interests as a member of the Deconstruct That Policy club. After graduation, Alejandro plans on attending law school and later pursuing a career in government.
