Allegra Carlotta Scarpa

Class of 2021 Rockefeller Leadership Fellow - Asynchronous Cohort

Allegra Carlotta Scarpa grew up in Italy and graduated from the International School of Trieste while practicing alpine skiing at a competitive level. At Dartmouth, Allegra is majoring in biology and will graduate in 2021. She has been part of the varsity ski team, one of the best teams in the country. Additionally, Allegra has been part of the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network and Global Village. Presently, Allegra is participating in the Presidential Scholars Program by working in Christensen’s lab at DHMC. Her project, involving the identification of markers for breast cancer, has been postponed because of the pandemic. Following her desire to help, in her free time Allegra is a tutor for biology classes or any class she has particular enjoyed. Allegra’s current goals are to find a job in a pharmaceutical or biotech company and, after several years of work attend business school, earning a joint degree: MBA/MS Biotechnology.
