Andrew Heo

Andrew Heo '19 grew up in rural South Korea and suburban Southern California, and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. His diverse background has served as the base for his passion for seeing the world. Over the past three years, he has traveled to fourteen countries for various engagements ranging from volunteering in western Bolivia to writing a newsletter on the Syrian Refugee Crisis in Berlin. At Dartmouth, Andrew has developed his passion in international relations through a quantitative approach, through the Quantitative Social Science major program. He is also a Spanish minor. Andrew has worked as a volunteer for UNESCO in China and as an intern at the US Embassy, Beijing. He has also been involved with the Rockefeller Center, which has funded and published two of his writing projects abroad. After graduation, Andrew plans to deepen his understanding of China through a masters' program in Beijing.
