Devontae Lacasse

First-Year Fellowship: YMCA: Youth Government Affairs Team; Mentor: Derek Summerville '11

Devontae Lacasse is a '24 from River Oaks, TX, who graduated from Castleberry High School as an AP Scholar. During his time at Castleberry, Devontae was captain of the Number Sense UIL, Social Studies UIL, Science UIL, and Citizen Bee teams garnering regional awards and multiple state qualifications. Additionally, he was president of the mariachi band, lead alto, and saxophone section leader for the award-winning CHS jazz and marching bands. At Dartmouth, Devontae plans to pursue a major in Quantitative Social Science with a minor in Public Policy. Currently, he is part of the Shabazz LLC, Dartmouth College Wind Ensemble, Dartmouth Minority Pre-Law Association, a Tour Guide in Training, and a volunteer for the Dartmouth Alliance for Children of Color. After graduation, Devontae plans to attend law school and practice civil rights law.
