First-Year Fellowship: Office of Congresswoman Anne Kuster; Mentor: Anne McLane Kuster '78

Evelyn Hatem '24, from Bow NH, intends to major in environmental studies and economics. Whether from a legal or analytical lens, she's passionate about the intersections of environmental issues and their socioeconomic implications. While at Bow High School, she led the student senate, trained in environmental advocacy with the Appalachian Mountain Club, and volunteered with an NGO to build solar lamps out of plastic water bottles. At Dartmouth, you can find her working with the Center for Social Impact, swim/bike/running with Triathlon Club, or exploring the outdoors with the Dartmouth Outing Club. After graduation, she hopes to work in environmental policy or sustainable development.
