Jayanth Uppaluri

First-Year Fellowship: National Disability Institute; Mentor: Michael Morris P '08 & '14

Jayanth Uppaluri '24 comes from Boston, Massachusetts, after having lived in St. Louis, Missouri for most of his life.  Jayanth graduated from Buckingham Browne and Nichols School (BB&N), where he graduated Cum Laude and was awarded the Head’s Prize.  At BB&N, Jayanth served as Student Body President, performed in several music ensembles, was involved in five school plays, and wrote for a variety of publications.  At Dartmouth, Jayanth was chosen to be a Great Issues Scholar.  He drums for the Coast Jazz Orchestra, writes for the Jack O’Lantern, and is a member of the Dartmouth Political Union.  Jayanth plans to major in Government and minor in Art History.  After graduation, he envisions himself either attending law school or pursuing a master’s degree.
