Marco Allen

First-Year Fellowship: International Finance Corporation; Mentor: Ruth Hupart '08

Marco Allen ‘23 graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics as an AP and National Merit Scholar. While at Science and Math, Marco served as President of the Student Senate and as a delegate to the University of North Carolina Association of Student Governments. Additionally, Marco participated in High School Diplomats, where he received a scholarship to study relations between the US and Japan at Princeton University and abroad. Marco was also involved in biology research at UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University. He served as a tutor with the North Carolina Virtual Public School, where he received the Presidential Service Award. At Dartmouth, Marco is a news reporter for The Dartmouth, a Foundations of Social Impact Scholar, and enjoys hiking and skiing. Marco is interested in studying history, government, public policy, and philosophy. He hopes to pursue a career in politics or attend law school after graduating.
