Margaret Bone

First-Year Fellowship: The American Leader; Mentor: George Linzer '83

Margaret Bone ‘24 hails from Nashville, Tennessee, where she graduated from Harpeth Hall as a National AP Scholar. At Harpeth Hall, Margaret was President of her freshman and sophomore classes, and Student Council President her senior year. She was also on the Mock Trial team, led the Women in Government Club, and was a member of Global Scholars, in which she spent two years researching and developing her capstone project on the intersection of policy and global incarceration trends. At Dartmouth, Margaret plans to pursue a major Government and Studio Art and a minor in Public Policy. She is a member of Dartmouth’s Mock Trial Society and regularly volunteers for political campaigns in both New Hampshire and Tennessee. After graduation, she hopes to attend law school and pursue a career that connects her interests in international affairs and public policy.
