Maxwell (Max) Teszler

First-Year Fellowship: Federation of American Scientists: Day One Project; Mentor: Daniel Correa '05

Maxwell Teszler ‘23 grew up in Massachusetts and attended Newton North High School, receiving the Phi Beta Kappa Scholarship for graduating at the top of his class. He was a National AP Scholar, served as Secretary-General of his school’s Model UN club, and was a student representative on his city’s school committee. He took a gap year before attending college, working as a campaign fellow and hiking 1400 miles of the Appalachian Trail. At Dartmouth, he intends to pursue a major in Biology and minor in public policy. He is a member of the club triathlon team, writes opinion columns for The Dartmouth, and will begin as a tour guide in the fall term. He also has a passion for the outdoors and is involved in the Dartmouth Outing Club (DOC). After Dartmouth, Teszler intends to continue with higher education towards a career in science and health policy.
