Meghana Kopparthi

First-Year Fellowship: National Indian Health Board; Mentor: Chris Chavis '12

Meghana Kopparthi ‘24 is from Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School’s International Baccalaureate program as a National Merit Finalist and National AP Scholar. At Stanton, Meghana was a founding member of Ethics Bowl, President of the Law Club, and Founder and Captain of the Mock Trial team. Throughout high school, Meghana volunteered as a Peer Attorney for Duval County’s Teen Court and coached a middle school MATHCOUNTS team, for which she received a Presidential Volunteer Service Award and the MATHCOUNTS Alumni Scholarship. She was also selected to participate in Florida Girls State her junior year. At Dartmouth, she competes on the Mock Trial team and serves as Co-Director of Communications for Co-FIRED, Dartmouth’s immigrant advocacy organization. Meghana is pursuing a major in Government modified with Philosophy and a minor in Public Policy. She plans to attend law school and pursue a career as a criminal defense attorney.
