Oumy Kane

Class of 2021 Rockefeller Leadership Fellow - Synchronous Cohort

Oumy Kane ‘21 is from New York City and went to the Calhoun School. At Dartmouth, Oumy is a Middle Eastern Studies major modified with African and African-American Studies with a minor in International Studies. Her coursework has allowed her to pursue her interest in learning different languages and cultures while developing critical thinking skills. On campus, she is currently a representative on the Council on Student Organizations and a board member on the NAACP at Dartmouth. Previously, she managed the Dartmouth Women’s Soccer team and has been involved with the Office of Pluralism and Leadership and Dartmouth African Students Association. Oumy has worked as a Corporate Investment Banking Operations Intern at JPMorgan Chase & Co. This summer, Oumy will complete a remote People Operations internship with Google. After graduation, she hopes to continue to help cultivate diverse and equitable workplaces.
