Rujuta Pandit

First-Year Fellowship: Federation of American Scientist: Day One Project; Mentor: Daniel Correa '05

Rujuta Pandit ‘24 graduated from Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois as a National Merit Finalist and National AP Scholar. Rujuta was a dedicated policy debater, who earned the J.W. Patterson Fellowship for Excellence in Debate in 2019, awarded to only twelve rising seniors in the United States. Rujuta also participated in her high school’s two-year Advanced Honors Research Program, completing a thesis and presentation on the ethicality of artificial intelligence and associated privacy intrusions. At Dartmouth, Rujuta plans to study Engineering Sciences, Public Policy, and International Studies. She is a staff writer for World Outlook, Dartmouth’s Undergraduate Journal of International Affairs, and a consultant for the Dartmouth student Consulting Group. After graduation, Rujuta hopes to pursue a career in science and technology policy and national security.
