Serge Severenchuk is a Postdoctoral Research Associate and a Manager of the Policy Research Shop at the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences.
Serge joined the Rockefeller Center in the summer of 2019. He received his Ph.D. from UNC Chapel Hill, where he specialized in political behavior/psychology and quantitative methodology.
His current research primarily deals with psychological bases of polarization and partisan bias. He also has a working paper on conjoint experimental design in political science, which examines how different types of conjoint design affect subjects’ preferences.
He has taught a range of political science courses including: Introduction to U.S. Government, Analyzing Public Opinion, and Quantitative Research in Political Science.
