Major Pairings with the Public Policy Minor

Since 2020, The Nelson A. Rockefeller Center has graduated over 175 Public Policy Minors from across a wide variety of academic disciplines. During this period, the public policy minor has been paired with 24 different majors across varying academic disciplines. Public policy is the 4th most popular minor at Dartmouth as of AY 2024-2025. While Government and Economics majors are represented in each of the six classes since 2020, the public policy minor has attracted students from: German, Hispanic Studies, African and African American Studies, Asian Society Culture and Languages, Math, Philosophy, Neuroscience, Psychological and Brain Studies, Biology, Engineering Sciences, English, Art History, Computer Science, Environmental Earth Sciences, Classical Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, Geography, Quantitative Social Sciences, Anthropology, Sociology, Environmental Studies, History, Economics, and Government. In each of the six years since 2020, an average of ten different majors were represented in each graduating cohort. Students included in this analysis completed the six-course sequence that constitutes our Public Policy Minor.
