This position supports the Center's communication, marketing, and outreach efforts with visual design for publications, posters, exhibitions, and displays.
The Student Program Assistant creates posters for the Center's public program events. The Center hosts 6-10 public events in the fall, winter, and spring terms, and 2-3 public events in the summer term. A poster is needed for each of these events at least 2 weeks before the event. Additionally, Graphic Designers assist with the creation of promotional materials, such as flyers, brochures, and posters.
This position requires the ability to transform creative ideas into visual design that effectively market the Rockefeller Center's programs while maintaining the Center's non-partisan, non-biased, professional image at all times. This position requires an individual who can work independently and is able to manage deadlines. Familiarity and access to design software is a must, along with the knowledge of how to prepare files for print.
Hours vary between 5-10 hours per week.
