Management and Leadership Development Program

Student Program Assistants for the Management and Leadership Development Program strengthen their skills in facilitating discussions, communicating effectively, writing in a variety of settings, planning with a purpose, and negotiating to find creative solutions to problems.

Student Program Assistants

Student Program Assistant(s) must attend all Management and Leadership Development Program (MLDP) sessions, including setup and cleanup. Alongside the Program Officer, assistants prepare for and help implement weekly sessions by communicating with participants, setting up surveys, monitoring attendance and participants' activity within the program, along with outreach and marketing efforts, program reporting, analysis, and improvement. To be qualified for this position, you must have participated in the Management and Leadership Development Program.  

At least a two-term commitment is required.

Hours: 7–10 hours a week.

Schedule:

  • Tuesday nights (two shifts)
    • 4:00pm - 6:45pm or 5:30pm - 8:15pm
  • Two one-hour weekly meetings scheduled at the group's convenience.
  • Other work time is flexible.
