PRS Briefing to Gov. Lynch picked up by media outlets

As previously mentioned, following up on their testimony before the New Hampshire Department of Safety on March 8, 2012, Rockefeller Center Policy Research Shop students Amy Couture ‘14, Michael Danaher ’13, and Tina Meng ’14 traveled back to Concord on May 10, 2012 to brief Governor John Lynch on the findings they had presented to the Department of Safety in their PRS Policy Brief, “Performance Measurement for State Governmental Agencies: Comparative Case Studies.”

Policy Research Shop Gears Up For Busy Winter Term

Offered in the fall term, Public Policy 45: Introduction to Public Policy Research, taught by Professor Ron Shaiko, Associate Director of the Rockefeller Center, and Professor Ben Cole, a Rockefeller Center post-doctoral fellow and co-manager of the Policy Research Shop (PRS), included a record number of 27 students and produced a record-breaking nine PRS projects that will be completed in the winter term in the PRS.

Policy Research Shop Receives $750,000 Federal Grant

We are excited to share that the Policy Research Shop (PRS) has been awarded a three-year, $750,000 grant by the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) to continue doing what it does best: helping undergraduates apply what they learn in the classroom to the real world of public policymaking.
