Tim Mulvey is a seasoned communications strategist who served in government for more than 15 years, both on Capitol Hill and in the executive branch. Tim played a leading role shaping strategy and messaging for some of the most high-profile oversight and foreign-affairs matters in recent years.

In his most recent government role, he served as communications director for the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol. In this role, he managed all public-facing aspects of the committee’s work; was a key architect of the committee’s groundbreaking public hearings and final report; and served as a senior strategic advisor to the committee’s bipartisan membership.  Previously, Tim was the longtime communications director for the Democratic staff of House Committee on Foreign Affairs. During the Obama Administration, Tim held an appointment at the U.S. Department of State, working as a speechwriter for Secretaries of State Clinton and Kerry.

Tim now advises clients on complex strategic communications matters as an associate partner at Dentons Global Advisors. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and daughter.
