Student Facilitators

D-LAB trains a strong and cohesive team of student leaders each year to facilitate the program's small-group discussions. These students are positioned as mentors to their first-year peers and are responsible for catalyzing important discussions about values and leadership in action.

Training

Training will consist of approximately 5 hours of in-person training.

Co-facilitation

D-LAB is a 7-week program held during the winter term on Mondays (6:30 – 8:00 p.m.) and Tuesdays (4:45 – 6:15 p.m.) through the Office of Student Life and the Rockefeller Center; you will be assigned one of the days based on your availability. Each 90-minute weekly session also includes dinner. To participate, facilitators must commit to all 7 weeks plus one additional day of training prior to the program. For fulfilling their responsibility and commitment, facilitators will receive a $500 stipend at the end of the program.

Sophomores, juniors, or seniors interested in becoming D-LAB facilitators can apply.

Applicants will complete a group interview and, if needed, a one-on-one interview. Facilitators interested in participating in D-LAB for the year 2024 should apply by December 1st, 2023 at this link.
