Faculty Council
The Rockefeller Center Faculty Council is appointed by the Associate Dean for the Social Sciences and the Center's Director, Professor Jason Barabas. The Faculty Council provides advice to the Center primarily on research and academic matters and acts as a liaison between the Center and the Social Science community.
Council Responsibilities
- Review and advise on research project applications supported by the Center's faculty research funds.
- Provide advice to the Associate Dean and Director on major initiatives and other matters of interest and/or concern.
- Act as a liaison between the Center, Social Science community, and the latter's faculty and students, and encourage faculty and student participation in Center efforts.
- Engage with Center events and visitors.
