Time Commitment: Up to 40 hours per week for at least 8 weeks
Desired Class Year: Open to all class years including graduate students
Desired Major or Interest: Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Law, Computer Science, Public Policy or Political Science with some interest in all four of those areas
Application Deadline: Recruiting begins in September, and we hire on a rolling basis through March. While there is no set application deadline, we do have a limited number of positions open each year, so please apply early!

Mozilla is hiring Policy Interns onto our teams throughout the nation. Our headquarters are based in the Bay Area, but we also have an opportunity in Washington D.C!
Mozilla works with our users and developers to provide products and services that make the Web more robust, and takes action when the Open Web is threatened. We engage in public policy matters when and where Mozilla can make a difference through both advancing and defending the Web.

Policy Intern (Washington, D.C.)
The policy team at Mozilla works with governments and civil society to further the Mozilla mission - and save the internet. The Americas team, based out of Washington, DC, works with governments and civil society across the region to develop privacy and data protection laws, protect the Internet's openness, and address other pressing policy issues. We also work with Mozilla's product teams to build projects that reflect this vision. We're looking for an intern who can help us promote the principles in Mozilla's manifesto, whether in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, or beyond!
Policy Intern (San Francisco, CA)
Our team leads Mozilla's engagement with global public policy processes - this includes regulatory and legislative developments on all things internet and tech policy. Our summer policy intern contributes directly to our work through analysis, research, writing, and joining meetings with government officials and stakeholders.
