Brief Description of the organization:
Since 1962, the World Food Programme has been on the frontlines of the fight against hunger and famine. The organization reaches over 90 million of the world's most vulnerable individuals in nearly 80 different countries. The WFP operates a variety of different programs including but not limited to emergency relief, food assistance, women empowerment, school meal assistance, small-scale farmer assistance, food loss reduction, and conflict survival.
