Arya Goyal '29 is from Scarsdale, New York. Over the summer, she worked as an intern with Congressman George Latimer where she worked on constituent outreach and helped the Congressman plan town halls. She was also the captain of her high school Speech and Debate team, where she was responsible for teaching new members and where she competed in Extemporaneous Speaking, earning the title of State Champion.
At Dartmouth, Arya is considering studying theater, public policy and mathematics. She is a Rockefeller Center Public Programming Student Assistant, a member of the dance group Street Soul and DALI, and she spends her free time outdoors, surfing, hiking, and skiing with the Dartmouth Outing Club.
