Awo Adu

Rockefeller Leadership Fellow

Awo Adu ‘22 grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts and graduated from Lowell High School. At Dartmouth, Awo is a Film modified with Africana Studies major. She is currently president of the Black Underground Theatre and Arts Association, a member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and has worked as a dining assistant at Novack Cafe and the McLaughlin Snackbar. Awo is an avid event planner who has worked with the Office of Pluralism and Leadership to create inaugural events such as the New Black Student Convocation and Dartmouth Meets BUTA. She has worked one term as a researcher for the Dartmouth Digital Humanities Institute and has held internships at Google, Free Soil Arts Collective, and Building Audacity. After graduation, Awo plans to receive more experience as an artistic producer.
