Ben Schwertner joined the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences as Finance Assistant Manager in 2026.

Prior to joining the Center he worked as a Project Manager at Management Systems International for seven years, supporting operations and implementation of USAID-funded projects within the Latin America and Caribbean region.

Ben holds BAs in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Florida State University and a MA in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University.

He is a former Peace Corps Volunteer who served in Nicaragua and speaks Spanish. In his free time he loves to travel, spend time with his two dogs, practice the piano and learn Italian. He lives with his wife in Canaan, NH.
