Isabela Pierry ’29 is from Rye, New York, and graduated from Rye Country Day School, where she received the Alumni Prize, the school’s highest honor. During high school, she served as editor-in-chief of the newspaper and literary magazine, captained the Parliamentary Debate team, and interned at the Rye Historical Society. She also pursued her passion for writing and the humanities by developing curriculum and teaching at a Saturday English literacy program. At Dartmouth, Isabela is a news writer for The Dartmouth, a mentor for the DCSI SIBs program, and a Great Issues Scholar planning to major in Government and Comparative Literature. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and traveling, especially to places where she can practice her Portuguese, Spanish, or French.
