James Kapadia ’29 grew up in New York, NY and graduated from Horace Mann School. There, he was president of the public forum debate team, captain of the varsity wrestling team, and a grade representative in student government. Outside of school, James has interned for the Honorable Judge John Mastando III of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and worked on Brad Hoylman-Sigal's campaign in which he was elected Borough President of Manhattan, gaining experience in legal research and public service. At Dartmouth, James plans to major in Government and Economics, where he has been recognized with the Andrew Warden Edson Memorial Prize. He also serves as the Interim Treasurer for the Dartmouth Political Union and is a Publishing Editor of the Dartmouth Law Journal.
