Jude Poirier '28 is a passionate advocate for equitable policies from Tucson, Arizona. In his home state, he worked with the county's education commission to support queer rights and mental health resources in classrooms alongside co-founding a nonprofit that provided free STEM education to over 1,500 elementary schoolers. As a Jack Byrne Scholar of Mathematics at Dartmouth, he is majoring in Quantitative Social Science with minors in Education and Public Policy, aiming to use data science to inform effective policy. On campus, Jude serves as the Class of 2028 North Park Senator, Co-Director of Communications and Community for Dartmouth Student Government, and Treasurer-Secretary of the Dartmouth Chapter of the American Constitution Society. He is also an ambassador for the Dartmouth Political Union and volunteers with the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact, supporting first-generation high school students as an Educational Access Advisor and was a Winterim ImpACT Leadership Fellow.
