Biography

Maddy Ehrlich '29 is from Niskayuna, NY, and graduated from Niskayuna High School as a National Merit Commended Scholar and top 5% in her class. In high school, she was Editor-in-Chief of her school’s Newspaper and the District Art Newsletter, president of the Animal Welfare Club, an original member of the Elevating Student Voices Mental Health & Inclusion Club, and a volunteer English language teacher. She was awarded two Gold Keys for her writing and art in the national Scholastic Art and Writing Competition and is passionate about using storytelling to raise awareness of important issues and current events. At Dartmouth, Maddy is a reporter for The Dartmouth Newspaper, a writer for the Ephemera Art History Journal, the Interfaith Chair at Dartmouth Hillel, a member of the Dartmouth Political Union, and a participant in the Foundations in Social Impact Program. She plans to major in English with a minor in Public Policy, and in her free time enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and reading.
