Margaret de la Fuente hails from Rochester Hills, Michigan. She graduated from International Academy as valedictorian with an International Baccalaureate Diploma. At International Academy, she was head delegate for her Model UN team, co-president of the environmental club, and the leader of multiple tutoring groups. During the 2022 midterm election cycle, Margaret was a Democracy Summer Fellow and a field organizer for the Michigan Democratic Party. Before matriculating, Margaret also served as an AmeriCorps Summer Associate with the Pontiac Community Foundation. At Dartmouth, Margaret is an ambassador for the Dartmouth Political Union, a committee chair for DartMUN, and a member of Ujima Dance Troupe. She is involved with the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact as a Growing Change Mentor and a participant in the Winterim ImpACT Leadership Intensive. As a rising sophomore, Margaret plans to study a combination of Geography, Quantitative Social Science, and Public Policy.
