Margaret Edmonds, '27, grew up in the heart of Atlanta, GA. She graduated from The Galloway School as an AP Scholar with Distinction, a National Merit Scholarship Recipient, and the recipient of her high school's highest honor, the Elliot Galloway Alumni Award for kindness and academic excellence. At Galloway, she was active in her community as the Events Coordinator Representative for Galloway Student Government, captain of the Policy Debate team, and captain of the Mock Trial Team, in which she won awards at the state and national levels for outstanding attorney performances. Outside of school, she was involved in local politics and law, shadowing Georgia State Senator Sonya Halpern and interning for Shamp Silk law firm. At Dartmouth, Margaret continues to carry out her passion for law and politics by participating as an attorney in Dartmouth's Mock Trial Society, in which she won an outstanding attorney award at the regional level. She intends to major in Government and Classical Studies with a minor in Public Policy.
