Biography

Michael Ross ’29 grew up in Tampa, Florida, and graduated from Berkeley Preparatory School. At Berkeley, he served as President of the Policy Debate team, leading it to multiple national tournament wins and earning an individual #1 national ranking during his senior season. He was also Captain of the Beatitones, his school’s a cappella group, and performed in numerous plays and musicals. In addition to his extracurricular work, he conducted research in politics and philosophy, including a piece published under the mentorship of Dr. Jacob Bennett at Vanderbilt on the moral justifications of American aid to Ukraine. At Dartmouth, he is an attorney and witness on the Mock Trial team, sings for the Dartmouth Cords, and is an editor for the Dartmouth Law Journal. He plans to major in Government with a minor in Public Policy with a concentration in Economics.
