Oscar Rempe-Hiam ‘29 grew up in New York City, graduating from the Bronx High School of Science. There, Oscar was the co-captain of the Model UN travel team, winning awards at Cornell, Columbia, GW, and more. As Captain of varsity soccer, he led his team to the playoffs and beyond, breaking multiple school records. Oscar interned for Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine and volunteered for Zohran Mamdani’s successful mayoral campaign. He also performed with his local community theater and worked as a cashier at his family’s bakery. At Dartmouth, Oscar serves as a Senator in Dartmouth Student Government, where he collaborated with the ACLU to host a “Know Your Rights” event on campus. Oscar is an opinion columnist and member of the editorial board for The Dartmouth, sings in the a cappella group “The Dartmouth Cords”, and plays for Dartmouth Club A Soccer. He plans to major in Government with a minor in Spanish.
