Sophie Johnson is from Edmond, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Santa Fe High School as a National Merit Finalist and valedictorian. At Santa Fe, she captained the debate team and co-founded a chapter of Equality in Forensics, working to expand access and equity in local debate spaces. She also served as president of Orchestra Council and was a three-year All-State violinist. At Dartmouth, Sophie is a member of the Parliamentary Debate team, involved with the Dartmouth Prison Justice Initiative, and teaches piano to underprivileged kids in the Upper Valley through Musical Empowerment. She intends to major in Philosophy and hopes to pursue a career in law after college.
