Biography

Hailing from Berkeley, California, Violet has been steeped in political activism much of her life. She began working on local political campaigns at age 15, and found her spark for leadership and policy-driven solutions. At Berkeley High School, she was a varsity parliamentary debater, peer mental health mentor, and student president of the music program, where she played viola. She interned for State Assemblymember Buffy Wicks, learning the behind-the-scenes of political work; in Spring 2026 she channeled her passion into mobilizing low-propensity environmental voters with the Environmental Voter Project. Violet is a Forge Fellow with the The Roosevelt Network, where she studies policy analysis in a cohort of national leaders. At Dartmouth, she is a member of the Dartmouth Mock Trial Society, Global Issue Scholars, the Dartmouth Law Journal, and she dabbles in Spare Rib. She hopes to study Government, Spanish, and Environmental Studies.
