Recognizing the Rockefeller Center's Student Program Assistants

In this series, the Rockefeller Center features our Student Program Assistants, student staff who contribute significantly to the success of the Center’s events, programs, and activities.

The Rockefeller Center student staff are an integral part of the Center’s daily operations. Each term, these students share their talents and skills in a variety of ways, from managing our social media platforms, to facilitating student discussion groups, to photographing our events, to carrying out the multiple tasks involved in the logistics of our programs and events. Without the exceptional work carried out by these students, many of our programs would not yield the same impact for participating Dartmouth students or community members.

The Center places a high level of trust and responsibility on our student staff, and most students find that their workplace skills and level of professionalism are enhanced by their time spent working at the Rockefeller Center. In addition to individual areas of responsibility, Student Program Assistants also function as the governing review committee that oversees submitted proposals for Rockefeller Center Mini-Grants. There is a rigorous application and interview process for each position, and the Center's Management & Leadership Development Program is usually a prerequisite for employment.
