Brooke Nind '26 hails from Simi Valley, California. She graduated from Westlake High School as Co-Valedictorian and an AP Scholar with Distinction. At Westlake, she was editor-in-chief of the yearbook, co-president of her YMCA Youth and Government delegation, and vice president of the National English Honor Society. Outside of the classroom, she was a peer tutor and an active volunteer with the Assisteens of Conejo Valley, of which she served as philanthropy chair. At Dartmouth, Brooke plans to pursue a major in Government with a minor in English. She is involved on campus with the Great Issues Scholars program, World Outlook Journal of International Affairs, The Stonefence Review literary magazine, and serves as a freshman member of the Dartmouth Democrats' executive board. Brooke also works for both the Dartmouth admissions office as a reception area assistant and the Dickey Center for International Understanding as a peer advisor. After Dartmouth, she hopes to pursue a career in foreign affairs or public policy.
